Roisin completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2021 and a Master of Science degree in Global Health in 2023. Specializing in community health, Roisin had the opportunity during her Master’s to develop a sexual health promotion program in a community-based setting to address gender-based violence, family planning and contraception, and maternal health. Through this experience, she explored her passion for adolescent and women’s health and female empowerment.

Roisin also has extensive research experience, including a published academic paper focused on maternal child health and multiple projects related to psychology and mental health. She also has experience volunteering at BC Children’s Hospital and with education-based organizations.

After completing a 10-week practicum with the Heights and Minds Foundation, Roisin began her consulting journey to further contribute to the MindUp training program. Her work focuses on developing advanced learning modules and expanding the Global Network for existing MindUps. She is particularly interested in program design and implementation, and her goal is to promote maternal and child health through local empowerment.
