In early 2023, Heights and Minds was selected as a partner focusing on early childhood nutrition for the inaugural Selangor Health Partnership (Selhep) program. A MindUp will be established in Puchong, Selangor in partnership with the Selangor State Government and a local partner, Little Steps. Heights and Minds focuses on the domain of early childhood nutrition which includes stunting prevention.

About Our Malaysia Center

The Pusat Anak Cerdas Ceria Selangor (CERDAS) MindUp, located in Puchong, was established through a partnership between Heights and Minds and the Selangor State Government under the Selangor Health Partnership (Selhep) Program. This MindUp focuses on preventing chronic malnutrition and promoting healthy child development during the critical first 1,000 days of life by empowering mothers and caregivers with knowledge and tools to raise healthy children. Opened in October 2023, CERDAS is a collaboration with the Welfare Department of Subang Jaya and Little Steps Foundation.
The MindUp is one of the first centers that offers a preventive, community-based approach to promote child growth and development in Malaysia. Although popular activities at Pusat CERDAS include Baby Brain Boost sessions for infant cognitive development, interactive cooking workshops to teach parents and caregivers nutritious meal preparation, and school holiday activities that involve the whole community, growth monitoring and individualized counseling remain the core of the services provided at the MindUp
