Empowering communities through nutrition, education, and child development programs in Indonesia

The Heights and Minds Foundation signed a Partnership Memorandum of Understanding with the Pilar Tunas Nusa Lestari Foundation based in Bandung, Indonesia, on October 30, 2020. Under the Partnership, Tunas Nusa and HMF aim to establish the first MindUp in Rancaecek in the Bandung Regency of Indonesia as a proof of concept pilot. Together with the MindUp pilots in Senegal, the experiences will allow the evaluation of the concept.​

Tunas Nusa collaborates with local authorities, schools, and health organizations to reach a larger population and create awareness to address stunting and enhance food security. Key activities at RRC include climate smart urban gardening, sustainable household practices, healthy food demonstrations and sensory play activities for young children.
The MindUp runs community farming initiatives and workshops on sustainable food production to strengthen local food security and improve access to nutritious foods
